Development of New IT Qualifications
Currently with NZQA for final evaluation
The proposed New Zealand Certificate in Applied Software Development (Level 6) has been developed by Toi Mai in partnership with Enspiral Dev Academy. It addresses an immediate need for more software developers and is designed to facilitate fast entry into the tech sector by providing more accessible training pathways for career changers and those from minority groups to enter the tech industry. Following consultation earlier this year, an amended version of the proposed qualification has been submitted to NZQA for evaluation.
Any questions on this qualification can be emailed to email@example.com.
Toi Mai previously also consulted on a proposed New Zealand Certificate in Machine Learning (Level 5), which was developed in partnership with Queenstown Resort College. The proposed qualification was subsequently submitted and registered as the micro-credentials: Certificate in Machine Learning Fundamentals (Level 5), Certificate in Responsible AI (Level 5), and Machine Learning Team Project (Level 5). Further information on these micro-credentials is available at https://www.qrc.ac.nz/
